Soulmates, twin flames, karmic partners. These days the spiritual community is using a lot of titles around relationships that come into our life for the purpose of our growth and advancement. Ideally however, on a truly spiritual level, we should be able to detach from the titles of these relationships and focus on ourselves, along with how they are promoting our healing.
Love is perfect in its imperfections. Many of us as well as myself have been guilty of expectations in love which then lead to disappointment. The idea of unconditional love can often times be thought that it’s understood, but in reality many of us have beliefs we may have inherited overtime preventing us from experiencing this fully.
Why is intuition the key to a healthy lifestyle? The Damn Detox does focus on detoxification, however the reason for detoxification has a bigger component. When we have toxins build up in our body, whether it be physical, emotional or energetic, we cannot be in tune with what our body is trying to tell us it needs.
Our quality of life effects our health too, so it’s important to know how much time we need alone but also how to pull ourselves up and show both ourselves and the people we care about what they mean to us in spending quality time together. It’s also vital to find a balance in self-care practices and the check list we have each day.
Self criticism. The destroyer of dreams, ruin-er of relationships and preventer of hope. I’ve written about judgement of others, but sometimes the judgement of others represents how much we judge ourselves.
As I started to think about it more and my recent blog on happiness, I realized being happier had a lot to do with discovering my true nature over the past year too, which is that I am an empath through and through.
For me, living healthy is not just the weight room and veggies, it’s a positive, open perspective. If we can manage to be happy with ourselves and take responsibility for our reactions (which includes a life void of unhealthy judgments), the rest of a healthy lifestyle will follow. What we choose to see in others is a reflection of ourselves...
Having healthy options at the table is great but it's okay to enjoy yourself, too!
Making these changes in exposure to create a more positive perspective not only prevents me from stressing out on a regular basis, but the love and understanding I have for others and myself is that much greater.
