With the holidays upon us, stress can be inevitable! So many things to do, places to go and people to see. The rush does not have to feel as such. How can we make the increase in business this time year more enjoyable, with less physical symptoms of stress? Here are a list of tips and practices you can incorporate into your day to day, so even the to do list brings you some holiday cheer.

Break Free

Sometimes inspiration for a blog post starts with a shot of sake and 30 minutes of meditation. I can’t say I ever imagined myself beginning with these words, but it’s the honest truth for where I am in life now. I realized this evening why I was frustrated but couldn’t put my finger on it. I’ve discussed with so many the troubling experiences I’ve had through my heavy metal detox and the physical healing that’s taken place. Whether it be my take on supplements, therapies or testing-man, what a world of knowledge I have been graced with! Although this will guide me in helping others, there’s a piece to detoxing that I have been avoiding in sharing out of fear of judgement and I didn’t want to admit it to myself until now.

For me, living healthy is not just the weight room and veggies, it’s a positive, open perspective. If we can manage to be happy with ourselves and take responsibility for our reactions (which includes a life void of unhealthy judgments), the rest of a healthy lifestyle will follow. What we choose to see in others is a reflection of ourselves...
